Lakshmi is a great teacher and tries to ensure that you are grasping what she's teaching. She tells you when you're wrong and is encouraging when doing well as well.

I have started taking Carnatic vocal classes from Lakshmi Mam. I personally feel that she prioritizes the comfort of the students, and also she's really patient, and she wouldn't mind repeating something multiple times, which really helps students establish the confidence and spirit to learn the music or any art. Another thing to add, alongside the music, she also explains the theoretical part of the music, which is really important.
All in all, She is really a great teacher and would recommend her, and I'm looking forward to my upcoming classes!

Very good music teacher with command and subject and gives individual attention to each and every student. Important thing is she understands the capabilities of student and accordingly classes are undertaken.
