About Mel
My name is Mel Vallance. I'm 30 years of age and have been a Primary School teacher for 8 years. I recently moved to London from Melbourne, Australia where I have moved out of the classroom into a P.E Teacher role, which I am thoroughly enjoying! Back in Australia, I worked in a very renowned school where we gained the highest level of knowledge in Morphology & Orton-Gillingham as well as assisting those with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia etc to achieve the best that they can within a world that doesn't always accommodate to those who learn a bit differently to others. I love taking information and altering it in numerous ways to make something that once seemed impossible to understand into something quite simple.

I am a relaxed teacher with high expectations of my students of all ages. I enjoy watching people have that 'lightbulb moment' and witnessing something that they once found extremely difficult turn into something they could easily explain to somebody else.
I am a primary school teacher with 8 years experience. All year levels between Reception and Year 7. My tutoring sessions typically take 1 hour (this can be adjusted if need be) and can be personalised depending on your needs.
