About Leanne
I am a 4th year Medical student at the University of Sheffield.
I have tutored Maths and English for 3 years with a private company to 4-16 year olds.
I am also a Cub Leader and have volunteered there for 4 years so have experience in teaching new skills to groups of children.
I achieved A grade in A Level Maths, A* in GCSE Maths and A** GCSE Further Maths.

I will tailor the sessions to the individual's needs and preferences as I know that everyone learns differently.
I will work closely with the individual to ensure that the most is made of these sessions, for example, making a list of complex topics to cover in the following session so that I can prepare suitable resources and teaching.
I learn using a wide range of techniques and am therefore able to teach this way too. I like to teach using whiteboards or spare paper to show the steps needed and make it really easy to understand, and follow up with lots of questions to practice these skills, but this style is adaptable.
I have had tutoring myself in Maths and English so have a lot of experience in the tutoring field.
