About Shreya
I am a 3rd year medical student in the UK who enjoys learning and teaching. I believe these lessons are just as big of a learning opportunity for you as for me.
As I have had experience applying to medical schools and exams recently, I believe I can provide some good advise that is up-to-date and guide and inform you of the current stance of medical schools and medicine as a career here.

I am a 3rd year medical student in the UK. I have volunteered as a teacher before, and my students would describe me as a fun, patient and peppy teacher. I tend to adapt my teaching style according to the students pace - which I would assess in the first lecture -and also rely on active engagement and activities outside the lessons. I also believe that role-play and testing is a very important part of learning, so expect some mock tests from my side.
I would typically expect 1-2 lessons, but that depends on the students choice too.
I am hoping to teach year 11/12 students who are getting ready to apply to medical schools in the UK and are preparing for interviews, BMAT and UCAT.

Perfect! Shreya helped with my understanding of medicine, building on the basics as we went through the lessons through feedback. I was able to develop my knowledge of medical interviews thanks to her help and confidently answer questions. A great teacher to work with.
- Matthew has some great points that he includes in his answers - he thinks holistically and mentions his experience and guidelines etc. He was a little under confident at the start, but I have noticed that he seems to answer more confidently in role plays now. He still struggles with following answer formats though, and I hope to tackle thatShreya's response :
