About Sasha
I am a medical student going into third year, with a first class degree in biomedical science specialising in pharmacology, cell signalling and cancer. I have an A level in Biology, Chemistry and psychology, and an AS level in physics, so I can offer tutoring in all of these subjects. I have also taken the UKCAT, BMAT and GAMSAT so would be happy to help with any medicine application tutoring too!
I been tutoring in various capacities since A level and through my degree I was a peer mentor. I have also worked as a mentor where I taught some ethical and sociological concepts to young people through a charity (National citizenship service). I have also been involved in a charity (Sexpression UK) that offers education on reproduction, puberty and relationships in schools, so I have some teaching training with this. Additionally, I have worked in several roles with children and young people so I am happy to tutor people at any age!

My teaching method would be based on what works best for you. I would like to draw out concepts step by step, and explain these concepts in a visual way as this is what I find to be the best way to get your head around complex scientific ideas. I will then offer summaries at the end of the session with key points, to make memorising more manageable. However, I will happily adapt how I teach to you as everyone will learn in a different way.
