About Evie
I am currently a first year medical student at Edinburgh University. I have been mentoring since I was doing my own GCSEs and find it incredibly rewarding to see other people overcome their difficulties and build their confidence in subjects. I love maths and science but understand how complicated it can be for some and find it enjoyable to find explanations and methods that work for different people (to then see it click in their mind too)!

Typically hour long tutoring session in maths, chemistry or biology for GCSE and 11+ maths. Has experience mentoring younger students for GCSE previously. I like to build great understanding of concepts, using different strategies to teach and explain to find what works best for you. Either on areas that you are currently struggling or on the hardest topics in the subject. Then focusing on exam technique and exam questions to build consistency of good grades.
