I am a Medical student at the University of Southampton and Biomedical Science graduate from King's College London with over 3 years of tutoring experience. I have taught over 30 students long term aged 11-19 at secondary and A level.

Lessons for maths comprise of a method walkthrough, followed by guided practice for the student. For topics which are a struggle, PowerPoint presentations to explain the basics, followed by exam practice until the student is confident. Lessons are 1 or 2 hours over Zoom.

Akriti is a great tutor who knows the maths and science specifications inside out after so many years of experience and pays extreme attention to detail to her student’s concerns.
I cannot recommend Akriti enough as a Science tutor. She is knowledgeable, flexible, and reliable, She also knows how to cater her lessons to the kids’ needs and they have done well in their exams thanks to her. Her lessons are personal and she really makes sure that the topic is understood, I would not hesitate to get her as a tutor!
