I am a Medical student at Cambridge University who appreciates the benefit tutoring can bring, having recently completed my GCSEs and A-levels. My results demonstrate both my academic proficiency and my dedication - while my experience of over two years of tutoring demonstrates the understanding I have developed of how to design lessons to take students to the next level in their studies.

I have built up a robust framework for teaching through my two years of experience tutoring GCSE Maths. I aim to identify the 'problem areas' of students quickly and build lesson plans around these in order to help the student progress quickly. I make effective use of examples and ask questions regularly during explanations to ensure a student is engaged and is following along; I also encourage the student to ask questions throughout the session. I have received feedback that this approach maximizes the benefit the student gains from the hour, which is the usual length of my lessons.
As I am now in the second year of my medicine degree at the University of Cambridge, I have recent experience of completing (and achieving the highest grade) in the GCSE and A-level Maths and Chemistry courses. This means I understand the ins and outs of the examinations, such as high-yield topics.
