About Felix
I am a medical student with two years of completed pre-clinical training and a strong academic foundation in biology, chemistry, and analytical problem-solving. My background has trained me to think systematically and break down complex material into clear, structured explanations.
Alongside my academic training, I have experience tutoring both high school students and university peers. I enjoy helping students move beyond memorization and develop genuine conceptual understanding. Seeing a student shift from confusion to clarity, and then to confidence is what motivates me.
I particularly enjoy working with students who are preparing for exams or aiming to strengthen their academic performance through disciplined, structured study methods. My sessions are calm, focused, and tailored to each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I maintain a strong interest in medical research and lifelong learning, and I bring that same curiosity and rigor into my teaching.

My teaching approach is centred on developing independent thinking and exam strategy. I begin by understanding how a student approaches a problem, then use guided questioning to identify conceptual gaps and strengthen reasoning. I adapt my explanations to suit the student’s learning style - whether that involves visual diagrams, step-by-step breakdowns, or applied examples.
Lessons typically run for 60–90 minutes, allowing enough time to review key concepts, practise targeted questions, and consolidate learning with structured feedback. I emphasise active problem-solving during sessions so students build confidence and accuracy under timed conditions.
I have one year of experience tutoring high school students and university peers, particularly in mathematics, chemistry, and biology. With two years of completed medical school training, I bring strong foundations in biological sciences and analytical thinking, which allows me to explain complex concepts clearly and systematically.
My lessons are suitable for:
- High school students (Years 7–12) in Mathematics and Chemistry
- High school and early undergraduate students in Biology
- Students who want structured support, exam preparation, or deeper conceptual understanding.
