About Joe
I have been giving private tutoring for a few years now and have found the work very rewarding. I have achieved a grade 9 at GCSE level in maths and in all sciences as well as a grade 8 in English. I have also achieved A* grade in A-level Biology, Chemistry and Maths and am currently studying medicine at the University of Manchester. Feel free to ask me any questions!

I often base my lessons around using what they already understand and trying to explain what they are finding difficult in a similar way. I think it's important to know about exam technique but for that to take a back seat to understanding concepts and am always happy to go back over basics to set the foundations for future lessons. I find a relaxed approach is best and will try to end every lesson with something to look into for the next.
