About Amelia
Hello, my name's Amelia and I'm currently studying medicine at university - but to get here I've had to be where you are! I know how challenging GCSEs and school exams can feel, and know what it takes to master them. I find tutoring incredibly rewarding - there's nothing better than seeing a concept 'click' for a student. I aim to create an engaging, supportive tutoring environment, to boost your confidence, sharpen your exam technique and help you reach your full potential.

I'm a strong believer that understanding is the foundation of any teaching, rather than simply memorising a process or fact. I'm happy to build a student up from complete basics if required and am practised at breaking down complex ideas into bite-sized pieces of information. I'm also able to be a more hands-off tutor for students who may simply need a supportive dedicated space for learning. I typically tutor in hour-long sessions, for students up to the age of 16 (GCSE level). I have background experience tutoring a wide range of ages and abilities in maths, English, biology and chemistry - both in person and online.
