About Katy
I am a first year medical student at Aberdeen University. I have experience working at Kumon for 2.5 years as a classroom assistant, helping students with their maths studies. I have experience tutoring higher maths as well. I have an A band 1 grade at both higher and advanced higher maths and achieved 100% in my higher maths exam. I have also recently achieved A grade in advanced higher biology and chemistry and would also tutor biology and chemistry

I like to encourage and help students to think for themselves. I believe the key to maths is understanding concepts and like to focus on helping students to be able to work through maths problems logically. I am also able to adapt to student’s own learning styles.
