About Sophie
Hi there! My name is Sophie and I’m a fourth year medical student at the University of Bristol. As someone who has interviewed prospective medical students, I am skilled in assisting students in navigating the interview process and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
I did my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths and sat the UCAT, gaining a score in the top 1% of applicants. I was interviewed by all 4 universities I applied to and achieved 3 offers from Bristol, Southampton and Sheffield. I’m always happy to have a chat about anything to do with the application process, life at medical school or anything else that you might be interested in!
I achieved A*s in both Biology and Physics at A-level, and was only one mark off an A* in Maths and got an A in Chemistry. In my GCSEs, I achieved grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geography, as well as an A in the FSMQ.
I absolutely love teaching people and watching them develop confidence in their skills. I completely understand the anxieties that come with studying for A-levels and applying for medicine, and am happy to give my tips for surviving the process.
