About Allie
Hi! I’m a medical student and Master of Public Health graduate who genuinely loves learning—and even more, I love helping other people realize they’re capable of learning things that once seemed impossible.
I’ve been on the other side of tutoring myself, so I know how intimidating it can feel to ask for help. That’s why I want my tutoring sessions to feel less like a classroom and more like having someone in your corner. I believe everyone can benefit from tutoring, whether you’re struggling with a subject, aiming for a higher grade, or just want someone to help things finally “click.”
A little about me: I’m a huge dog person, I love creative projects, and I’m probably going to get way too excited when you finally understand a concept we’ve been working on! I’m patient, encouraging, and not afraid to explain something five different ways until we find the one that makes sense to you.
My goal is simple: make learning less intimidating, build your confidence, and help you realize you’re probably more capable than you think.

My tutoring approach focuses on understanding rather than memorization. As a medical student with a Master of Public Health, I’m experienced in breaking complex science and math concepts into simple, manageable steps.
Lessons are personalized to each student and typically include reviewing difficult concepts, working through practice problems together, and applying the material to real-world examples. I adjust my approach based on how each student learns best and make sure they understand the “why” behind the answer.
I tutor students of all levels in science and math. My goal is to make challenging subjects feel less overwhelming while helping students build confidence and stronger problem-solving skills.
