About Jack
Hello, my name is Jack. I am a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with a strong passion for helping students learn, grow, and gain confidence in their abilities. I believe that education is most effective when students feel supported, respected, and encouraged to ask questions and challenge themselves. I am committed to creating a positive and structured learning environment where lessons are clear, engaging, and tailored to individual learning needs. My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations, developing critical thinking skills, and helping students apply their knowledge in practical and meaningful ways. I chose to become a teacher because I enjoy making a real difference in students’ lives. Seeing learners progress, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding to me. I aim to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in every student I teach. Typical length of lessons 55-60 minutes I teach through a concept-driven approach, by going through various exam questions and identifying my students' misconceptions and weaknesses to get the most out of our lessons. I'm also keen to assist students outside of our lessons for how they can teach themselves. I achieved AAA in my A-levels in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. I have been tutoring for 3+ months now. I can teach A-level Mathematics and Chemistry (content but specifically the AS level content). I can teach GCSE Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
