About James
I’m a two-time Dean’s Honor List student with hands-on engineering experience in both the agriculture and space industries. My roles have included CAD design, programming, and physical assembly — giving me a practical understanding of how math and physics are applied in the real world. I’ve led informal tutoring and group study sessions, and I’m known for making complex ideas easier to grasp by connecting them to real-world examples. I work equally well with high school and university students, and especially enjoy teaching calculus — a subject I’ve consistently excelled in. Outside the classroom, I stay grounded through martial arts, long-distance running, and golf.

As a 3rd-year Mechatronics Engineering student at Western University, I offer tutoring in math, physics, and related material for both high school and first-year university students. I understand how challenging these subjects can be — I’ve been through them myself, recently. That’s why my approach is practical, patient, and tailored to your unique needs. I’ll build custom lesson plans to target your specific weaknesses, explain things in a clear, down-to-earth way, and help you gain real confidence in your learning. Most sessions are held online for convenience, but I’m also available for in-person tutoring in London, Ontario. If you're looking for someone who’s been in your shoes, gets the content, and actually knows how to explain it — I’m here to help.
