About Meaghan
I'm a Mechanical Engineering Technologist registered with CTTAM as a Certified Engineering Technologist working for an aerospace manufacturing company as a Process Engineering Specialist. I use math and physics every day (not in a textbook, but in real industrial processes where getting it wrong actually matters).

I tutor high school students in math and physics because I believe everyone can understand these concepts as long as they are explained clearly, which can be difficult to do for some teachers. Since I work in the aerospace manufacturing industry, I use these concepts every day and can explain them forwards, backwards, and inside-out. I work with students who are prepping for exams, have fallen behind or need to catch up, feel overwhelmed or lost, and those that grasp the concept but have a hard time showing their work.
Every session starts with what's coming up for the student (quizzes, tests, assignments), any questions they have, and then we work on some problems. You start working on the problem while I observe to check your progress, and if you get stuck, I'm right there with you to help you talk it out. Then, we debrief, and I assign a small amount of targeted practice (if warranted or requested).
