About Harvey
I am Mechanical Engineering Student heading into my third year of studies at Oxford Brookes University.
I used to really not enjoy Maths or Physics at all! And I never did too well in the classroom environment. Fortunately my parents were able to set me up with a tutor at school, and I began to understand the subjects. Consequently, I started to really enjoy Maths and Physics, and was more keen to learn. Now I am studying engineering and it's something I will pursue for the rest of my career.
I want to instil that cycle of enjoying the subject, wanting to learn more, and then enjoying it even more!!

Though I have little experience in paid tutorship, I have a deep comprehension in the STEM field, and am comfortable being able to teach these skills to students.
I firmly believe that to achieve high in STEM subjects, the approach is to gain a basic understanding on the topic, then continually push this understanding with practise papers and exam questions. This is how I will focus my sessions with the student.
Whether the tutee is aiming for high level grades (A-B) or is needing help to pass the subject, I can tailor my sessions to their needs.
I can provide a free trail session up to an hour in length, where parents/guardians can sit in.
1-1 preferred but can do online tutoring.
