About Saswathan
Hi, I'm Saswathan and I am a student at Imperial College London! Currently, I'm studying towards a Mechanical Engineering degree and I aim to help others reach their potential in Maths within a positive learning environment. I have some experience tutoring GCSE students part time varying in subjects such as Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry for A Levels and achieved A*A*A*A.

My lessons typically run for 1 to 1.5 hours. I teach GCSE and A Level Maths and Further Maths, tailoring every session to the individual and their needs. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and went on to earn A* in both A Level Maths and Further Maths. I have also participated in the UKMT Maths Challenges, which strengthened my problem-solving skills — something I aim to pass on to my students, along with building their confidence and critical thinking. In addition to covering key content, I place strong emphasis on exam-style practice to help students apply their knowledge effectively. I also regularly monitor progress through homework and assessments, ensuring that each student stays on track and continues to improve. Although my lessons are primarily online, I make sure they are interactive, engaging, and structured to support consistent progress.
