About Muskan
I’m a Mechanical engineer from UBC, currently based in Victoria. I have been tutoring for the past 7 years. My journey started by being a peer tutor in high school and have since taught in many centers. I believe I have a niche for understanding the problem areas of students and am capable of making learning super fun especially for a subject like Math. I love solving problems and knowing that what I’m saying is making sense to my students is what keeps me going. Be it a last-minute exam prep or learning throughout the school term, I can assure an improvement from your previous grades. I have many references available as well.

My biggest goal is for the student to understand what I’m trying to convey. I usually start off by getting to know the problem areas and emphasize reinforcing those concepts throughout my lectures. I ask plenty of questions so that the students start thinking analytically and eventually become capable of answering their own questions. At the beginning of my time with the students, I like to set up a game plan for how we are going to tackle the coursework so we are not running behind. I am very proficient in recapping the coursework if anyone needs that extra boost of confidence before the big exam day!
