About Camille
I'm a second-year student at Desautels, the Faculty of Management at McGill University. I am pursuing a major in International Management and a minor in Sociology. I received my bachelor's degree in economics and social sciences with the international option in June 2018 at the bilingual school Jeannine Manuel in Paris. While I was a student in high school, I gave 6 hours of English classes per week and homework support to children from several families. I also have a lot of experience in babysitting.

For homework help, the most important thing for me is that the student assimilates the content of his course by understanding it rather than by rote learning. I therefore adapt my way of teaching according to the child's learning method. For example, if he does not understand an exercise in one way, we will approach it from a new angle. Moreover, I think it is important to have good communication with the student, encouraging him/her to ask questions in order to give him/her precise and adequate support.
For language learning, I structure my session in two parts. One is more academic, based on writing, reading, grammar rules and vocabulary. The second focuses more on oral practice through games and thematic conversations adapted to the student's age.
