About Arthur
I have been taught by a wide range of teachers and lecturers with different teaching styles, which has helped me become highly adaptable in how I approach learning and explaining concepts to others. This allows me to adjust my teaching methods based on the student’s needs and pace of understanding.
I also value professionalism and discipline in a learning environment. One of my lecturers strongly emphasized focus during lessons, where students are required to put away distractions and fully concentrate on the material being taught. I apply the same principle in my classes to ensure an effective and structured learning experience.
While I do not overload students with excessive homework in a single day, I do assign mandatory tasks with clear deadlines to reinforce learning and maintain consistent progress.

My tutoring approach focuses on structured and concept-based learning to help students fully understand each topic before moving on to the next. I was inspired by my Chemistry lecturer’s teaching style, where only one syllabus topic is focused on per session to avoid confusion and strengthen understanding.
For Physics, my experience as a PAL Leader helped me develop skills in guiding students using prepared materials, discussions, and step-by-step explanations. For Chemistry, especially Organic Chemistry, I prefer using real-life models and relatable examples to make difficult concepts easier to visualise and understand.
Classes are usually conducted for 1 hour per session, focusing either on Physics or Chemistry. Additional exercises and homework may also be given occasionally to reinforce learning and improve problem-solving skills.
My lessons are mainly for students taking Physics and Chemistry at the SPM and Matriculation level.
