About Dalen
I am a total maths and science lover. But I am also passionate about music, writing, reading, drama, and about everything that challenges me. I really enjoy helping people, especially when it comes to helping children with schoolwork. Being able to see someone understand something that they haven’t before; to see it finally click for them; is something so special to me!

I believe in making learning enjoyable along with it being informative. I try to use as many visual representations for understanding concepts and ideas. I'm energetic and I will try and turn mistakes into learning experiences rather than shame. I also use the same tricks and tips I’ve learned from my maths teachers that got me to where I am today. If your child did not enjoy the tutor lesson, I know I have to try harder to make it enjoyable for them. I also prefer to give lessons in Afrikaans, but English is fine as well
