About Alex
I studied Aerospace Engineering at Brunel University and have been working for a top defence company for the past 8 years. I really enjoy teaching and can explain complex subjects in a plain and easy to understand manner. I was tutored myself during my A-Levels so have experienced tutoring from ‘the other side’. I’m a keen adventure sports enthusiast and qualified commercial pilot!

I believe the best way to prepare for an exam is to tackle some past papers from the relevant exam board, identify the weak areas and then work back over those areas to strengthen understanding. Going back to first principles can be key to really getting a grip on a subject!

I have known Alex for nearly 10 years now. We met at cadets where he then went on to become on officer (member of staff). Alex has a great ability to instantly build rapport with any young person which I believe is key when working with or tutoring youths.
