About Isabella
I am a year 12 (2023 graduating) student at MLC School in Burwood currently undertaking the International Baccalaureate (Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, French and English). I was in accelerated maths throughout high school and believe that by implementing tailored and personal strategies maths can become increasingly approachable and enjoyable and student's marks often become more representative of their true capabilities.

I like to take a personal, light-hearted, approach when tutoring by thoroughly explaining concepts from multiple perspectives, using practical examples and implementing structure. A typical session is roughly 45mins-1.5hrs depending on the child and what works best for their learning style. I have experience privately tutoring as well as being a Kumon tutor for 3 years and have volunteered at a local preschool. My services are catered towards years 5-10 students however I am flexible in engaging with younger students as well.
