About Karishma
My passion for mathematics began with the satisfaction of seeing how numbers and patterns connect to form clear solutions. Over seven years of teaching, I’ve found immense joy in helping students build strong foundations and overcome academic anxiety. I love showing learners that math is not something to fear but a subject that becomes logical and enjoyable when explained with patience and clarity. I teach with calmness, adaptability, and genuine encouragement. My focus is always on the student’s understanding—adjusting pace, explanations, and examples based on what they need most. Whether a learner gains clarity through visual methods, repeated practice, or step-by-step reasoning, I adapt my approach accordingly. I value creating a positive, safe environment where students feel comfortable engaging with problems and expressing doubts. Outside of teaching, I stay connected to math through continuous practice, puzzle-solving, and study, which help me bring fresh insight to lessons. For me, teaching mathematics is not just about academic content—it is about helping students build confidence, resilience, and clear thinking they can carry into all areas of life.

Mathematics becomes a lot less stressful when students feel guided, supported, and encouraged at every step. My lessons focus on creating a calm and structured environment where learners can ask questions freely and work through problems at a comfortable pace. I break down concepts into simple ideas, use clear examples, and guide students through logical steps to help them understand rather than memorize. Each session combines clarity, patience, and positive reinforcement to make maths more manageable and confidence-building.
Beginners start with basic arithmetic, number sense, algebra foundations, and introductory geometry. Intermediate learners expand into equations, functions, graphs, ratios, trigonometry, and problem-solving techniques. Advanced students focus on calculus, advanced algebra, analytical geometry, exam strategies, and tailored practice. Lessons are adaptive, ensuring students progress gradually with strong clarity and consistent support.
Maths lessons help students develop analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and a calm approach to challenges. Many learners shift from fear to confidence as they realize they can understand maths when guided clearly. My goal is to help every student feel supported, capable, and steadily improving in both skill and mindset.
