About Cathy
I worked for an Educational Psychologist and learned about many academic problems. I have a teaching Diploma and have been running a Tutoring Center for 5 years. I focus on areas of difficulty and new concepts that have not been understood. I have seen my students go from failing to passing, which is so gratifying.

I base my tutoring on the school curriculum, but do not stick to it. I prefer to focus on new concepts as well as areas of difficulty for each individual student. I try to make lessons fun, without the pressure of getting the correct answers immediately. We will work on a concept until the student is comfortable and able to accomplish the work.
