About Rachelle
I am a BSc (Hons) Construction Management graduate with a strong background in maths and problem-solving. Through my studies and professional experience, I have developed excellent analytical and communication skills, which I now bring into tutoring. I provide National 4 and National 5 Maths tuition, helping pupils to build confidence, strengthen core skills, and prepare for assessments or exams. I take a patient and supportive approach, breaking down difficult topics into simple, clear steps and encouraging learners to work at their own pace. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy working in the construction industry, where maths plays a key role in real-world problem solving. This allows me to bring practical examples into lessons to make learning more engaging and relevant. I am approachable, reliable, and passionate about helping young people achieve their goals in maths, whether they are aiming for a pass at National 4 or a top grade at National 5.

My lessons are designed to make maths clear, manageable, and less stressful. I provide tailored tuition in National 4 and National 5 Maths, focusing on each pupil’s individual needs. Whether it’s building confidence with the basics, preparing for assessments, or improving exam technique, I break topics into simple, step-by-step explanations that make sense. I use a structured but flexible approach: • Covering the full SQA curriculum (algebra, numeracy, trigonometry, geometry, graphs, and problem-solving). • Using past papers, practice questions, and real-world examples to reinforce learning. • Encouraging pupils to ask questions freely in a patient, supportive environment. Lessons can be delivered online or in person, depending on what works best. I adapt the pace and style to suit each learner, ensuring steady progress and improved confidence. My aim is not just to help pupils pass, but to help them understand maths in a way that feels achievable and less intimidating.
