About Thomas
I’m 25 and a recent (2020) graduate of the university of Southampton with a degree in mathematics. This will be my first tutoring job so I have limited experience. I tutored my younger sister online when I was at university and helped her get from a u in her as-level maths mock to a b in her final exam. My tutoring will be tailored to each specific student focusing mostly on what they believe they need most help with whilst also making sure all bases are covered and they have a good understanding of maths. I believe I have a very patient and engaging tutoring style where I will explain all the concepts and processes clearly and thoroughly making sure you understand what is happening at every step of the way. I will also go through example questions with you based on what you have just learnt then let you do some on your own. This will give you an opportunity to test your understanding and practical application of the concepts we just learnt and give me a chance to see areas you need more help with.
