About Steve
I have been a Mathematics and Statistics teacher in the UK for over 30 years and enjoy helping others to understand and develop their mathematical ability. After a long and successful career I have taken a step back from full time teaching and am devoting my time to Examination marking and online tuition. Availability: I`m generally available Mondays - Fridays (mornings, afternoons) and some weekends in the run up to your final exams. I have helped a great many students through GCSE maths, A level maths. I have successfully aided many students, helping them get the grade they need to progress to A-levels, apprenticeships or work. I have extensive experience teaching A level maths and further maths.

Mathematics tuition/revision for GCSE and A Level. I aim to make the sessions as interactive as possible. Using a tablet and graphics pen the lessons are accessible to all. A blend of sound advice and questioning enables my students to develop confidence in their own ability. Having taught in a number of schools in England over my career I have the necessary skills and experience to help you. A typical lesson is 60 minutes but I am happy to advise once I get to know you.

Steve is a reliable and patient tutor. He has boosted my daughter's confidence in her ability to do maths and this has resulted in her gaining 30 extra marks in her latest GCSE mock exams compared to her last mock exams in November.
