About Rachael
As a child, I always struggled to feel confident in my mathematical ability and it was only when I was taught by my GCSE Maths teacher that I began to appreciate how each mathematical skill acts as a building block for new knowledge.
As such, I became a teacher to help young people overcome their anxiety towards mathematics and ensure they had a strong foundation in numeracy, so that they can embark on the career of their choice.

In tutoring sessions, I work with students to discover their individual learning styles and adapt lessons accordingly.
Each session involves retrieval tasks, interactive quizzes and exam practice, so that students are consistently challenged and feel rewarded at the end of every hour.
Every young person deserves the chance to feel confident in their mathematical ability and I hope to help them in their journey towards realising this.
