About Abdul Kahar
Teaching is not just another career for me but it is a passion, the dream job. I started my teaching at a very early stage of my life by helping cousins with their Maths homework; since then, I have always loved maths. Now, as a maths teacher, I can focus on the subject even more, which satisfies my craving for learning and exploring diverse and advanced levels of topics. At the same time, I feel more challenged and find more excitement teaching this demanding subject, and the end result `students' potential and success` definitely makes me happy. Currently, I`m doing part-time teaching and am quite flexible. I`m able to travel 10/15 miles and am available weekdays/weekends. I can mentor KS3 and KS4 level students, and also can offer help with their ICT/Business studies. My professional teaching career started in the year 2001. Taught computer programming, ICT, and computing-related subjects for a UK-based international qualification called NCC Education. Later taught in a university in Bangladesh for a few years. Taught IGCSE subjects in Maths, ICT, and Business studies in a secondary school. I did my graduation in Computing and later a Master's degree in MIS, later PGCE in Maths and attained Outstanding as my final grade. As a trainee teacher, I`ve taught in good and outstanding schools, and my approach while teaching one-to-one has always been appreciated by the mentors, other class teachers, and observers. I know Abdul from university. We did PGCE together. Being a maths teacher myself, I can easily analyse good subject knowledge and teaching skills and Abdul has got both.
