About Hugh
I have a BSc Maths and Philosophy from the University of York and a PGCE in Secondary Maths Education from the University of Leeds. I have taught in several schools in the Leeds and Bradford area, and have over 100 hours experience in one-to-one and very small group private tuition services.

I specialise in teaching GCSE Maths. I believe the key to effective tuition in engagement. In my lessons, students are encouraged to ask questions and get involved with the logical thinking behind the topics at hand. I also think that the best way to learn Maths is to practice, practice, practice. In my lessons, students will always be grappling with an exam style question, and will always be teaching their brain to think mathematically. This makes my tuition style ideal for those looking to excel in exams.
