About Callum
I finished my GCSEs in 2020, achieving a grade 9 in maths and further maths, and then continued to get an A* in A-Level maths and further maths, with marks of 288/300 and 262/300 respectively. I sat Edexcel A-Levels, and in further maths I did Further Mechanics 1 and Decision 1, however I would feel comfortable with the majority of Further Pure 1 content and would be happy to do further research outside of tutoring hours if ever necessary. I also did the senior maths challenge in year 13, leading to my qualification to the British Mathematical Olympiad round 1 where I got a distinction. I sat the TMUA admissions test in November 2021, scoring a 7.0, and I am now in my first year of undergraduate mathematics at the University of Warwick.

I offer an interactive and personalized approach to tutoring, tailored towards developing a true understanding of the topics, instead of just how to answer the questions. I believe this allows students to be able to apply the knowledge better in problem-based questions, which is a particularly important skill for A-Level. As someone with experience in recent university admissions tests for maths and maths challenges/olympiads/competitions, I believe that I have the skillset to help with any extracurricular maths as well, such as the admissions tests or high school/sixth form olympiads or kangaroo challenges.
