About Amanda
I home-schooled my 4 children when they were young and tutored them throughout their schooling - helping them achieve excellent results. This became the catalyst to my becoming a teacher, where I teach Life Sciences and Maths to the high school.
I have remained a personal tutor as well for 15 years - which means I am experienced with all kinds of student-types. I am a flexible teacher, I love to teach too - it's my passion and calling in life, and I can make my kids get excited about my subjects.

I can offer lessons in Math, Physics Sciences and Life Sciences to any child between grade 8 and grade 12.
I will take them through parts of the syllabus that they require assistance with, orienting my lessons towards their needs in order to bolster their strengths and address their weaknesses.
I assign homework and additional tasks in order to make sure they are always improving and working, since the lessons are just a boost - not a miracle-worker.
I can take a strong student and help them perform excellently, and I can help weak students pass. I am fun, patient, and knowledgable - my lessons are always well-paced and enjoyable.
