About Grace
I have recently finished an undergraduate degree in Human Sciences at the University of Oxford. During my time at university, I had the benefit of learning and engaging with my degree through 1:1 teaching. Seeing the benefit of this style of teaching, in my third year of my degree I began offering 1:1 online tuition for A-Level Biology students. I have been tutoring since I was a lot younger, however, having first tried my hand at it in sixth form when I ran revision sessions for GCSE chemistry. I believe wholeheartedly that 1:1 tuition is one of the best ways to learn because it allows the tutor to tailor the lessons specifically for their student, it allows you to go at the student's pace, and, most importantly, it fosters a two-way discussion about the subject - which is crucial for deeper learning and understanding.

I like to take a student-focused, interdisciplinary approach to my teaching by linking the lesson material to concepts in different subjects and to my pupil's real-life experience - I believe this contributes to a more well-rounded and well-rooted understanding of the primary content in question. I offer hour-long lessons by default; however, I am very flexible so can do longer or shorter - whatever works for you! First class is on me :)

I’ve known Grace since primary school and have been friends ever since. Grace is a super friendly chatty person who is very kind and very good at explaining things. I’ve been friends with grace for like 12 years and she has always explained anything to me that I don’t understand and is always a very patient and will move at your pace, rather than presuming that you are fine with the topic. I would recommend Grace as she is very good at explaining pretty much anything in Chemistry and she is also friendly and approachable and she makes chemistry very easy to understand
