About Royce
I have a First Class degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Engineering. Over the years I’ve found real enjoyment in supporting learners — from running a maths club for younger pupils to mentoring students at university level. I understand that maths can sometimes feel intimidating, but I believe every student has the potential to succeed with the right guidance. My goal is to make learning supportive, approachable, and confidence-building.

I tutor GCSE and A-Level maths, helping students not only understand key concepts but also apply them with confidence in exams. Lessons are typically one hour, tailored to each student’s needs - from tackling difficult topics step by step, to revising systematically with past papers. My approach is clear, patient, and supportive, aiming to reduce stress and build confidence. I want maths to feel more approachable, less intimidating, and - dare I say... even fun. I have experience supporting school pupils with revision, running a primary maths club, and mentoring university students. My goal is always to help every learner feel more confident and capable in maths.
