About Oleksii
I am a Maths graduate from the University of Oxford. I went through one of the best high schools in Ukraine in STEM, participated in numerous Olympiads, and got Silver at the International Physics Olympiad. I studied for two years in Kyiv in Physics, then moved to Oxford to get an MMath degree. During those studies, I went to a number of conferences schools and research projects in different places, including CERN, Fields Institute and Oxford.
My experience with teaching includes a wide range of experience: helping to prepare for an admission process (SAT, MAT), helping with school or university syllabus or thesis, and preparing for the Olympiads.

I have one main idea behind teaching Maths. Understanding before remembering. Whatever your final goal, everything is easier, when you understand the idea, rather than mechanically use it. I start by making a little assessment, after which I work out the strategy and lessons plan, and choose the best approach for you. I try to make it as visual as possible, using many drawings and real-life examples.
I taught my 9-year old sister how to solve quadratic equations, be sure we can succeed in any goal you have.

My fares are open to discussion and I will glad to adjust to your needs.
Teaching for Olympiads will have a lower rate as I see it as a more interesting project.
Separately, I would take a higher rate for Primary school students, but that because I would spend a lot of time on making the lessons engaging for little children. As far as my experience went, I had quite good results with such children, but I noticed it take really a lot of my time.
