About Oskar
I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First Class Master's degree in Engineering, following four years of study. Prior to this, I achieved A*A*A*A grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively. Through my academic journey, I've experienced first-hand the frustration of trying to brute-force my way through STEM subjects using pure memorisation. This understanding has shaped my teaching philosophy - I'm passionate about helping students develop strong logical intuition rather than relying on rote learning. By building from first principles, I guide students to not only solve problems but truly understand the underlying concepts. This approach empowers them to tackle unseen challenges confidently and independently learn new material. My greatest reward is watching students transform their relationship with mathematics - moving from memorisation to genuine understanding, and ultimately discovering the beauty and joy inherent in mathematical thinking.
