I have trained via the Teach First graduate scheme and have been teaching for 8 years now. I have a passion in the classroom for teaching and learning techniques. I am constantly reflecting upon and adapting my practice to make sure that my students are making the greatest progress possible.

My approach is to establish the individual’s own areas of weakness and use interleaving techniques to make sure that skills that are taught in one lesson are not lost by the previous session and are learnt over time. I try to make maths fun and enjoyable to learn as well as using knowledge of misconceptions to make sure that students understand where they may go wrong.
