About Molly
I am a kind, patient and fun tutor. I achieved 8 A*s and 2 As in my GCSEs, and went on to achieve 3 A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-level. I have a BSc in Mathematics with Mathematical Physics from UCL, and an MSc in Psychological Studies from the University of Glasgow. I fully understand how stressful preparing for exams is, and aim to make the process more manageable for my students. Since graduating, I have worked as a government statistician for the past 4 years. I love maths, and all of its applications, and want to help young people to achieve their full potential in their maths education. I was lucky to have amazing teachers at school who really inspired me to pursue a career in maths, and I aim to provide something similar for my students. From my academic and professional experience, I have sat countless maths exams and have had to become extremely well organised and methodical. I believe these are skills that can be learnt, and skills that all students will benefit from developing - something I hope to help my students with. A huge part of my career is in communication - explaining complicated topics in the most simple and accessible way. I believe this is what makes my sessions so effective. I would love to chat with you, to find out what you might be struggling with, and make a plan for how I can help you to feel more comfortable with maths, reduce any anxiety, and achieve your best!

I offer one-hour lessons teaching GCSE and A-level maths. I am a patient and kind teacher, and am confident that you will feel comfortable in my lessons to make mistakes and ask questions, this is how we learn! I have extensive experience taking maths exams, and can teach you all of my exam techniques. I aim to make my lessons fun and engaging, and truly believe that everyone can find something they enjoy in maths. I am open and responsive to feedback from my students and happy to adapt my lessons to what kind of learning suits them best.
