About Matthew
I am a 22 year old honours student at QUT doing mechanical engineering with a minor in race car design.
I come from a family full of kids/ children and am currently living with a 5 and 3 year old so am extremely comfortable working with children.
I have had tutoring in the past so know it’s a bit daunting sometimes but that’s okay!
I am currently studying maths/ physics predominantly and am quite compitant with all sub sections of those two subjects.

Typically I find reading from a text book or having a teacher preach from a board hasn’t really ever sunk in with me, and as a result I find I avoid both of these when tutoring.
I’ve always found practicing problems and working through questions to be very effective. I would generally cover any gaps in knowledge needed, work through a few questions with the student and then help them where needed while they attempt the questions, and finally I always end on an overly complicated question to better prepare for future teaching..
