About PRAKHAR
I came to the UK in September of 2019 as an international student to pursue an integrated master's in Physics. I believe Mathematics and Physics are subjects that can be compared to a gym for your mind -if learning them takes effort, then you're on the right path, similar to your progression in a gym.
Having been an international student for 4 years, I relate with the frustrations a student can go through when lessons are not tailored to your personal pace as I switched entire education systems over the course of my personal education.
I believe teaching is a noble profession, one that is more than just a job. I have utmost respect for teachers that refine their craft with every lesson they do - every good teacher is a very good student. I had an amazing Mathematics teacher when I was younger, which is where my love for it comes from. With a passion for technical subjects and a strong drive to be like him, I hold myself to the highest standards of professionalism, empathy and adaptability.

I begin by gaining a thorough understanding of each student’s prior experience with the subject, allowing me to see things from their perspective. This helps me tailor my teaching approach to their unique strengths, challenges, and learning style.
I then design and plan my sessions to match the student’s individual pace, ensuring that the material is accessible and engaging. Each lesson incorporates moderate amounts of practice questions to reinforce concepts, building both confidence and mastery over time.
In my approach to teaching Maths and Physics, I like to compare the learning process to maintaining a high-quality knife: it requires consistent honing and sharpening. Just as a knife's edge improves with regular attention, I believe that continual practice and incremental improvement lead to mastery.
My goal is to provide students with the tools, guidance, and practice that they need to sharpen their skills and excel in these subjects.

Prakhar helped me learn many difficult concepts in maths while I was studying engineering. He is adept at explaining complex concepts in an easy to comprehend format, and is incredibly patient while you piece the parts together. His main focus was physics but he was still able to assist me with every maths problem that I struggled with.
He is a very warm and friendly person who wants you to learn, and you can feel that in his encouragement. He makes it easy to answer a question when you are unsure if you're right, and elaborates constructively on any errors you may make.I cannot recommend Prakhar highly enough. He has a gift for helping break down complex maths so that it's digestible.
