About Kamal
I've a B.Sc. university degree in Physics from Kathmandu as well as more than 5 years of experience as a science/maths teacher in a secondary school.
One of my fun achievements as a teacher was the annual science-maths exhibitions we started for parents' days; which the students continued on their own after I left the school :)

I have taught Primary and Secondary level Maths and Science mostly in classrooms as well as one-to-one tuition during my 5+ years as a teacher in an English school in Kathmandu. (Guess where it is.)
While I do have my methods and techniques that work for majority of students in a classroom, when it comes to tutoring one-to-one, every student learns differently. Thus, after the initial assessment and getting to know the student, I build my approach on how to teach them.
On top of practical experiments, real life examples, exercises, illustrations, videos etc. which are the tried and tested methods of teaching science and maths, I often let the student teach a part of a lesson to me to see how well they've grasped the topic (purely optional if the student is not up for it).
