About Ashlei
I worked as an embedded software engineer for 5 years, and later led a team of engineers on large international projects, before deciding to come to university to study engineering with the goal of becoming a research veterinary medical bioengineer.
I joined the University of Cambridge in 2020, and enjoy tutoring in my downtime.

A typical GCSE or A-Level maths lesson with me will last between 30 and 60 minutes covering the topics studied in schools, with the aim of filling any gaps in knowledge and solidifying understanding.
I like linking the topics to real-world examples, showing how to solve problems from first-principles, and pushing slightly past what is required by the syllabus. I believe this helps to form a genuine and long-lasting understanding of a topic, making students more likely to know how to solve problems when they come up in exams or later life.
