About Pauline
Since September 2019 I have been studying mathematics and computer science as a Bachelor at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland). Even at school I had a great passion for the two subjects such that I not only chose them as advanced courses for my Abitur and now study them, but would also like to share my knowledge with others. I am convinced that maths does not have to be difficult, even if you don't get it right away.

During the last couple of years I have supported students from 4th to 11th grade in a wide variety of mathematics topics and have always been looking for new perspectives on how to explain something. These can be very complex topics or supposedly simple foundations - I don't think there are stupid questions and if someone doesn't understand something, I just explain it differently.
My tutoring is individually tailored to you and will relate to the topics that cause you problems.

Pauline kann Mathematik so erklären, dass es jedes Kind versteht. Sie erkennt vor allem, was das Kind nicht verstanden hat und setzt da an. Unser Kind hat durch die Nachhilfe mit Pauline wieder Vertrauen in sein Können und sogar Spaß an der Mathematik gefunden.
Pauline ist eine super Lehrerin, die sich nicht davon abschrecken lässt, dass man etwas nicht auf Anhieb versteht. Sollte es dazu kommen, überlegt sie sich eine andere Herangehensweise, das Thema zu erklären, so dass ich es am Ende immer verstanden habe. Sie ist eine super Mathelehrerin für mich gewesen!
Pauline hat mich seit 12 Jahren in der Schule unterstützt. (bin jetzt 12) Dabei hat sie mir vor allem in den MINT (Mathe, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften, Technik) sehr gut geholfen. Sie hat dabei mir meine Fehler erklärt, ohne die Geduld bei der Wiederholung von Fehlern zu verlieren. Dies tat sie auf verschiedene Weisen, wodurch ich bis jetzt in Mathe kein mal ein Thema nach der Nachhilfe nicht verstanden.
Außerdem ist sie eine sehr sympathische Person, die sich verschiedenen Lerntypen von Schülern anpassen kann.View more recommendations
