About Tevya
I am an undergraduate mathematics student with a passion for helping younger students with their maths ability. I have been teaching multiple children of friends and family for 3 years now and have decided to branch out. Students I have taught have received grades 8-9's in their GCSEs; and I am also currently helping a student with 11+ exam preparation.

I approach my lessons by starting off with understanding where the student is in terms of the specific topic that needs to be covered. With maths, I believe practice and persistence is key, so I ensure that plenty of questions are covered in detail. I usually set a few questions as homework to make sure the student is confident before moving on to the next topic. When it comes to exam preparation, I cover many exam questions with the student so that they are prepared for when they encounter similar problems.

Tevya helped me to complete my A level and GCSE maths courses. I was already on track for a 7/8, but her tutoring helped me to push that up to a 9 in my final GCSE exam. She also helped me to understand a lot of the complex maths and further maths A level concepts.
