About Claire
I was diagnosed with ADHD in 5th grade and while getting medicine helped me focus teachers were overwhelmed and couldn't give me the extra help I needed. Going forward I realized that there were several students like me. Struggling and falling behind without any help.
After I graduated high school, I worked as a freelance math and science tutor across the Bay Area. My own experiences with a learning disability helped me teach a variety of students who just needed some extra help. I tutored privately throughout college and worked semi-virtually as a substitute teacher at a prestigious college prep school in San Jose.
I might seem young but it helps me remember what go through the minds of teenagers and how the pandemic has changed learning in such a drastic way.

I work closely with each of my students to help them not only get through whatever class they might be struggling in but to also be excited for it.
I give each student special notes from each tutoring session complete with tools necessary to bring up grades and get ahead in class.
My lessons are specialized for each student. I take into account skill level and learning abilities.
My lessons are for middle and high schoolmate students. They range from Pre-Algebra to Trigonometry and Precalculus. Lessons also include intro college level statistics.
