About Isaac
I offer clear, patient tutoring in mathematics with an emphasis on appropriate study skills and stress-free exam taking! I know that a lot of students can feel confused on where to start, or just lost in general so I offer a clear direction and path forward to competency in mathematics. Having navigated challenging mathematics myself, I know what it's like to struggle and rebuild. My approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps that are communicated clearly and effectively.

I employ a chunk-based learning approach, with detailed methods for interleaving and knowledge acquisition. I've seen the effectiveness of pre-studying a textbook chapter, lecture, or video and encourage my students to participate in this technique. A typical lesson length would be roughly 45-60 minutes, with a focus on developing a student's weakness in encouraging strengths. My lessons are for high-school, and first-year university students; no matter their level in the subject.
