About Purnima
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Mathematical Modeling. I have 12 years of experience teaching mathematics to students with diverse learning needs and academic goals. My interest in mathematics developed through exploring patterns, structures, and practical applications in science and technology. Teaching allows me to share that enthusiasm while helping students reach their potential.
My teaching style is patient, organized, and flexible. I adapt explanations to suit different learning preferences and ability levels. Some students learn best through examples, while others benefit from visual approaches and guided discovery. I encourage questions and active engagement throughout lessons. Building confidence is a central part of my teaching philosophy.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying mathematical applications in engineering, economics, and data science. Staying connected to the subject helps me bring fresh perspectives into lessons.
